Luton was ranked fifth worst airport in the world

A recent eDreams survey analysed over 50,000 customer satisfaction reviews in 2017 to reveal the best and worst airports.
Raking the airports out of five, Singapore’s Changi Airport was named the best airport in the world with a score of 4.47.
Heathrow airport in London made the list coming in at number 10.
This then leaves the question as to which is the worst airport?
Consumer group Which? voted the Luton in as the worst airport in the UK in 2017
Casablanca was named the worst airport in the world followed by Rome Ciampino and Berlin Tegel.
London is also home to one of the world’s worst airport’s with Luton ranked fifth by eDreams customers.
The airport, which is just under 30 miles out of Central London, is a popular airport for Britons flying on budget flights to Europe.
According to the Guardian, consumer group Which? voted the Luton in as the worst airport in the UK in 2017 for the fifth consecutive year.
The Bedfordshire airport received a score of 29 per cent in the annual report.

It was announced at the beginning on March that noise complaints from residents living in close proximity to the airport has reached a record high.
The number of noise complaints topped 15,000 in the last three years.
The airport has received further bad press after the announcement that potential strike action could cause chaos for summer travellers.
Unite union, who represent the airport staff, has proposed a series of strike ballots.
Despite the airport bosses receiving a 59 per cent pay increase, airport staff are disputing their pay and zero-hour contracts.
